Meet Ayla Gaines
Co-Owner/ Aesthetician/ Laser pro
Ayla Gaines is the Co-Owner of Splendid Aesthetics, bringing nearly two decades of experience in Aesthetics along with advanced training and extensive hands-on experience in laser treatments. She is deeply passionate about building genuine connections and helping clients look and feel their best.
As a provider, Ayla is known for her relaxing, thoughtful technique and results-driven treatments that prioritize both skin health and client comfort. She takes a personalized approach to every service, ensuring each guest feels informed, at ease, and confident in their care.
Ayla’s goal is for every guest to feel welcome, cared for, and renewed, creating an experience that is both elevated and comfortable. Splendid feels like home to her, and she loves creating that same sense of warmth for every guest.
Her favorite treatments include Ultra Laser Resurfacing and SkinPen Microneedling. Outside of Splendid, Ayla is a wife and mom of four boys, and when she’s not working, she’s usually doing kid stuff, or thinking about ways to make Splendid even better—alongside a team she truly enjoys.
Meet Dr. Alysia Bedgood
Medical Director
Dr. Alysia Bedgood is the Medical Director at Splendid Aesthetics, bringing extensive experience in primary care and sports medicine, as well as fellowship training in family and athletic medicine. She has also completed coursework through the Institute for Functional Medicine toward certification, along with additional training in hormone optimization and peptide therapies, allowing her to provide safe, results-driven, and personalized treatments tailored to each guest’s unique goals.
A South Austin native, Dr. Bedgood earned her Medical Degree from UT Health Science Center, Houston, after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin. She trained in Family Medicine in Sugar Land and completed her fellowship at Methodist Willowbrook, where she worked with collegiate athletes. Since returning to Austin in 2016, she has focused on combining her expertise, precision, and patient-centered approach to support wellness, skin health, and aesthetic enhancement.
Dr. Bedgood believes every guest deserves thoughtful, evidence-based, and supportive care that helps them look and feel their best.
Meet Kianna
Assistant Manager/ Lead Coordinator
Kianna is the Assistant Manager and Client Specialist at Splendid Aesthetics. She has a deep love for all things beauty and wellness and is passionate about helping others feel confident in their own skin. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and enjoys blending her knowledge of wellness with her passion for aesthetics. At Splendid Aesthetics, Kianna also leads much of the clinic’s social media presence, creating beautiful Instagram and social content that helps the clinic’s online presence pop. She takes pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment where every client feels genuinely cared for and leaves feeling refreshed, confident, and radiant.
Meet Lucy
Nurse Practitioner
Lucy Bush is a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner with 10 years of clinical experience. She earned her Doctorate from Baylor University and is passionate about educating her patients, helping them understand lab results, balance hormones, and achieve healthy weight goals. Lucy takes a thoughtful, personalized approach, making sure every patient feels informed, supported, and confident in their care.
Outside of work, Lucy enjoys hiking with her husband and their dog, Pogo, and traveling whenever she can.
Meet Denise
Nurse Practitioner
Denise Brelsford is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of medical experience in the family medicine, allergy and immunology, acute care, and aesthetic fields. She has a passion for the wellness and integrative medicine field and is always learning about best practices in a field that continues to evolve. She believes that a healthy lifestyle in combination with a customized, personalized approach, including wellness treatments, is key to achieving optimal results.
Denise earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Texas A&M, and Nursing from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, as well as her Master’s in Nursing with a focus in Family Nurse Practitioner studies from Texas State University. She loves to take the time to truly understand her patients, while offering support every step of the way to meet their individual goals. In her spare time, she is a full-time sports mom and cherishes spending time with her family at every opportunity.
Meet Stephanie
Registered Nurse Injector
Stephanie Diaz brings 7 years of nursing experience to her work at Splendid Aesthetics, focusing on safe, precise treatments that enhance natural beauty while helping every client feel comfortable, informed, and confident. She especially enjoys performing treatments on the lateral cheeks, where subtle, balanced results make a big impact.
Before transitioning to nursing, Stephanie spent 13 years at Disney and has a background in finance, bringing her attention to detail and people skills to every client interaction. Outside of work, she loves traveling and hiking, and is passionate about helping guests leave feeling refreshed and confident in their own skin.
Meet Mallory
Aesthetician/ Laser Tech
Mallory is a licensed aesthetician and certified laser technician. She graduated from Dallas Skin Institute and completed her laser certification through the National Laser Institute.
She is passionate about helping clients feel confident in their skin through results-driven treatments and personalized care. Her favorite services include microneedling, laser treatments, and acne treatments. Mallory loves building genuine relationships with her clients and creating a comfortable, welcoming experience on every visit.
Outside of work, Mallory enjoys traveling and spending time with family.

Front Desk Coordinator
As the Front Desk Coordinator, she loves creating a welcoming and positive experience for every client who walks through our doors. Helping people feel comfortable, cared for, and valued is her favorite part of what she does. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
